How to pick a giveaway winner
Paste the comments from your post, upload an export file, or fetch YouTube comments with a video link.
Set your rules: one entry per person, a required keyword or hashtag, a minimum number of tags, and accounts to exclude.
Choose how many winners and alternates, then draw with the wheel or a drumroll list.
Share the proof page so your audience can verify the draw, and download a winner image or video.
Provably fair, not just “random”
Before the draw, Spinvolta publishes a fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash) of the exact entry list and settings. The winners are then derived from a public randomness beacon — the drand League of Entropy — whose value did not exist yet when the list was fixed. Neither you nor we can steer the result, and anyone can press Verify on the proof page to recompute it in their own browser. How it works.
No scraping, no login, no limits
Spinvolta never logs into your accounts or scrapes social networks. You paste or upload the comments you can already see — which also means there is no comment limit. YouTube comments can be fetched directly through YouTube's official API.
Before you run a giveaway
Each platform has its own promotion rules, and many countries regulate prize draws. Write clear rules (who can enter, deadline, prize, how winners are contacted), follow the platform's guidelines, and never ask entrants to pay. This page is general guidance, not legal advice.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on the number of comments?
No. Paste or upload as many as you have.
Can people with several comments win more often?
Only if you allow it. By default each person counts once, however many times they commented.
How can my followers check the draw was fair?
Share the proof link. It shows the entry-list fingerprint, the randomness beacon round, the winners and a Verify button that recomputes everything in the browser.
What are alternates?
Backup winners, in order, in case a winner doesn't reply or doesn't meet the rules.
