How to use the wheel spinner
Type or paste your entries into the list — one per line. You can also import a CSV, Excel file or Google Sheet.
Press Spin, tap the wheel, press Space, or flick the wheel with your finger or mouse.
The result card shows the winner. Remove it, hide it, spin again or save it to your results.
A wheel spinner that does more, for free
Spinvolta is a free wheel spinner with no limits: unlimited entries, unlimited saved wheels, HD images on segments, your own logo in the centre, video and GIF export, embeds and live rooms — all without an account. Your wheels save automatically on your device, so a refresh never loses your list.
It also feels great to use. The wheel winds up, spins with real motion blur, ticks against its pegs, wobbles into place and lights up the winner with confetti and a fanfare. If you prefer calm, switch on reduced motion and the result simply fades in.
Modes for every situation
- Normal — every spin picks from all entries.
- Elimination — the winner leaves the wheel, until everyone has been picked. Perfect for turn order.
- Score — counts wins per entry and keeps a leaderboard.
- Weighted — give some entries more chances. Segment size always matches the real odds.
- Mystery — hide entries or the result until you reveal it.
- Multi-pick — pick several winners in a single spin, with or without repeats.
- Combo — spin two to four linked wheels together, like character + weapon + place.
Is the wheel really random?
Yes. The winner is drawn by your browser's cryptographic random number generator before the wheel starts moving, using rejection sampling so no entry is even slightly favoured. The animation is then calculated to land on that result — flick strength, spin time and manual stop change how it looks, never who wins. Read how fairness works or run the fairness audit yourself.
Frequently asked questions
Is Spinvolta really free?
Yes. Every feature is free with no limits and no sign-up: unlimited entries and wheels, images, video export, embeds, rooms and giveaways.
How many entries can a wheel have?
As many as you like. The wheel stays smooth with thousands of entries; when segments get too thin for text, hover or check the list to see each one.
Can I save my wheel?
Your wheel saves automatically on this device. Open My wheels to switch between saved wheels, organise them in folders, or export them to a file. Use Share to get a link.
Can I make some entries more likely?
Switch to Weighted mode and give each entry a weight. A weight of 2 is twice as likely as a weight of 1, and segment sizes show the exact odds.
Does flicking the wheel harder change the result?
No. The winner is chosen fairly before the wheel moves. A harder flick only makes the spin longer.
